Deliver and maintain Culturally Safe General Practice services by being Culturally Responsive. It is self-paced and includes quizzes and a Certificate of Attendance. This training is suitable for GPs and practices, Nurses, Pharmacists and their staff, or anyone working in a medical services environment. It is accredited by the RACGP and ACCRM for eight (8) CPD Hours. You are asked to provide your RACGP or ACRRM Member Number to gain CPD points as appropriate. Kultchafi also holds accreditation from the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Through this training, you will learn the following: Learning Outcome 1: Communicate effectively with First Nations patients during patient consultations. Learning Outcome 2: Explain First Nation patient engagement protocols and how they can apply to your professional environment. Learning Outcome 3: Outline the history of the Closing the Gap Strategy and specific health-related targets within it. Learning Outcome 4: Identify the key components of and how to access the PIP Indigenous Health Incentive for First Nations patients in your practice. Learning Outcome 5: Identify gaps in Cultural Responsiveness in your practice environment. This training has been created from the Voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A Certificate is provided to participants who complete this training.
